Sportexe Select Teams up with LEGOLAND California® For New Miniature Golf Course
ROUND ROCK, Texas, June 1, 2005 - Sportexe Select has teamed up with LEGOLAND California® to
design and construct a new miniature golf course, called Wild Woods Golf, on the site of their
128-acre Carlsbad theme park. This course will bring the game of golf to the child’s level as
only LEGOLAND can.
The course will span nearly 23,000 square feet and will showcase several fun and exciting interactive features designed to entice and delight players young and old. A ground-breaking concept in miniature golf, the new attraction will include actual LEGO® models of forest creatures along the 18-hole experience.
“Our team is on site now and construction is underway,” said David Staines, general manager of Sportexe Select, the miniature golf division of Sportexe. “We’re pleased and honored to be working with LEGO and the people at LEGOLAND California.”
